In Memoriam Lewis J. Brandolini, III 1946 - 2018

Brandolini Companies announces the passing of its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Lewis J. Brandolini, III. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Lew have lost a dear friend and inspiring mentor. Lew leaves behind a fourth generation company that he grew from developing 15 homes per year to over 500 homes per year in the 1970’s. He then transitioned to the Company’s current focus of shopping centers.

He had a proven record of accomplishment as a skilled real estate developer and astute investor. His spirit will forever be the foundation of Brandolini Companies. We will honor his memory by dedicating ourselves to continue the work he loved.

Frederick Snow President

Frederick Snow is the President of Brandolini Companies. Mr. Snow has been with Brandolini Companies since 1992, overseeing day-to-day operations of the Company and is responsible for creating and implementing corporate growth strategies including acquisitions, development, capital structure, deal flow, asset management and strategic relationships. Prior to joining Brandolini Companies, Mr. Snow earned an MBA from Temple University and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics from Temple University. Mr. Snow graduated first in his class and summa cum laude while completing the Temple University Honors Program.

Scott D. Ackerman Chief Financial Officer

Scott Ackerman joined Brandolini Companies in 2000 as the Chief Financial Officer and Controller. Mr. Ackerman primarily focuses on managing the daily financial operations of Brandolini Companies and Brandolini Property Management, Inc. as well as facilitating all tax planning, financial reporting and information systems. Mr. Ackerman began his career in 1983 in accounting, real estate and property management. Prior to working with Brandolini Companies, Mr. Ackerman served for 13 years as the Controller of National Properties, Inc., a multi-family residential developer and management company. Mr. Ackerman is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant and earned a bachelor’s degree in both Accounting and Computer Science from The Ohio State University.

James Bladel Vice President of Construction

James Bladel joined Brandolini Property Management, Inc. in 2005 as the Vice President of Construction. Mr. Bladel brings extensive ground-up and redevelopment construction and site work experience to the team having worked for over 20 years in the construction industry on several asset classes including retail, residential, industrial and office. Mr. Bladel has directed the construction of numerous residential, office and retail properties including regional and neighborhood shopping centers. Mr. Bladel has worked in various senior-level positions with both local developers and large national construction firms including Opus East, LLC. Furthering his detailed understanding of site work, Mr. Bladel received a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from West Virginia University.

Harry B. Watts Vice President of Property and Asset Management

Harry Watts manages the Company’s portfolio of retail shopping centers and other assets through Brandolini Property Management, Inc. Mr. Watts oversees the budgetary process for the centers, manages the financial performance of each asset on a monthly basis and is in charge of collections, insurance issues and legal matters. Mr. Watts facilitates construction management for the portfolio. Starting in the early 1980’s, Mr. Watts gained accounting experience in commercial real estate from both Strouse Greenberg and the Rubin Organization. He gained significant property management experience while at Metro Commercial Management and as a Regional Manager for First Washington Real Estate Investment Trust. Mr. Watts has a degree in Hotel Restaurant Management along with a degree in Accounting from Temple University and joined Brandolini in 2000.

Cathy Mineo Vice President, Leasing

Cathy Mineo joined Brandolini Companies in 2013 as Vice President of Leasing, overseeing the Company’s retail portfolio. Cathy has over 28 years of retail leasing experience in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Her previous leasing experience includes working for Kravco Company, one of the largest private Owner/Developer of retail assets in the Philadelphia area. She also spent time working for Federal Realty, one of the largest public Shopping Center REITS in the country. Most recently, she worked for 10 years at FAMECO Real Estate, the leading retail brokerage firm in the greater Tri-State area. While at FAMECO, she was responsible for the leasing of the firm’s affiliated Developer entity, Tri-State Ventures. Over her career, Cathy has been responsible for managing leasing activity in a wide variety of projects including power centers, community shopping centers as well as numerous ground-up development projects in the Tri-State area. Cathy holds a real estate license in Pennsylvania and is an active member of the ICSC.
